Dear Friends,
to partecipate to every Italian sport event, the Italian State Law has fixed important mandatory dispositions (cfr. DM 18/02/1982; DM 24/04/2013 and follow.). Here follows the guidelines to be allowed to join AIMA ROMA 2019.
Summary: if you want just to follow classes and sparring, you must have a "medical certificate for fitness"; if you want to join competitions also, your must have a "sport medicine test for competitive activities". Therefore to partecipate to AIMA ROMA 2019, you must follow one of the following option:
1) ITALIAN SPORT COMPETITIVE MEDICAL CERTIFICATION
a) you can do an urine test in your Country, and bring with you here the results.
b) then, on thursday 8th march in the morning, we'll bring you (with your results) to the sport doctor, to make an italian sport competitive certification at the reduced price of 40 euros (instead of 50/70). We're trying to have this possibility also thursday afternoon or friday morning, but we don't know by now.
2) SPORT COMPETITIVE CERTIFICATION by YOUR COUNTRY
You have to make the following exams, in English, and bring all the results and the certificate with you to AIMA Roma 2019:
a) urine test
b) blood pressure
c) ECG - echo and stress test
d) spirometry
3) MEDICAL CERTIFICATE FOR FITNESS (NOT COMPETITIVE)
For E.U. citizen, the test required are the same; so you can do it in your Country and bring it with you here.
4) For the NOT E.U. PARTECIPANTS:
since the tests required for the medical certificate of fitness, unfortunately, are differents from the E.U. ones, we must request for all the activities the tests for the SPORT COMPETITIVE CERTIFICATE (so the option a) or b).
5) HOW TO RESERVE A VISIT IN ROME, TO GET THE ITALIAN SPORT COMPETITIVE MEDICAL CERTIFICATION
We have some slot on thursday and friday (morning and afternoon) to take the visit by one of our sport doctors; therefore, we strongly suggest the partecipant to reserve a visit as soon as possible, in order to choose a moment that fits with his program for AIMA Roma 2019.

NB: the athlete needs to bring the risults of a recent urine test, in ENGLISH; the results must be given to the doctor, as part of the certificate.
Without these results, the doctor will not produce the certificate.
