The Museum of Martial Arts at AIMA Roma 2017
The Associazione Italiana Maestri d'Arme, thanks to the collaboration with Centro Studi Guardia di Croce, provides for it's members full access to the first Museum of Martial Arts: a structure in which it is possible to analyze, carefully handle and better understand original weapons and treatises, held in a collection that spans from ancient times to the beginning of the 1900's.
Thanks to the sheer volume, variety and state of preservation of the artefacts, the Museum of Martial Arts, is regarded as one of the most important private collections in Italy, and probably one of the largest among historical arms and armour exhibits.
The collection started and gradually expanded over time, thanks to the passion, cultural orientation and financial commitment of its founder and current owner, Roberto Gotti.
The exhibit held within the international event AIMA Roma 2017, enables all participants the chance to examine some of the original artefacts.
